Over the past few days, Kenley has said several things that have made us smile.
She went with Kim to see Bud in the hospital after his hip surgery. They rode the elevator up to his floor. When later asked what they rode in, Kenley said "an elegator."
Where we live now, we have to drive by the airport on a regular basis to get to some places. Over the past weekend, we went to get haircuts for Kim and Kenley and as we went by the airport, there was a plane parked by some hangars. Kenley asked us why the plane wasn't blastoffing.
Kenley loves stuffed animals. Her favorite is her "baby penguin." It's the one animal that will bring tears if another kid, including Chase, plays with it. Lately, she has also been playing with a couple frog stuffed animals. One is quite old. I believe Kim had it when she was younger. It is a pretty big stuffed animal. The other one is smaller and Chase usually plays with it. Well, now that Kenley has started playing with them, she calls them tree frogs. We aren't sure if she picked that up on one of our trips to the zoo or if she learned it from watching Go Diego Go. Probably from watching Diego. Also, the bigger one is the daddy tree frog while the smaller one is the baby, of course.
Lastly, on the way to daycare this week, Chase sneezed. Kim and I will usually say "bless you" when the kids sneeze. But I didn't say anything at first this time. So Kenley chimed in and said "excuse me, Chasey."
